Asylum GeForce FX 5600 Ultra

Does the Asylum GeForce FX 5600 Ultra 256MB DDR 8XAGP perfrom better than a Radeon 9500/9700 Pro 128MB DDR?

From what Ive seen of my friends computer with the Geforce FX 5600 it does perform better than both the 9500/9700. Especially running on 256mb DDR.
