geforce 3 slowdown

recently i've noticed that my gfx card isn't pushing the fps it used to. so i ran 3dmark2001 se to test it out. My usual score is between 7100 and 7500, but recently it's just over 6900. now i know this isn't a huge deal, but i noticed that some tests were way slower.
nature=30.8
fill rate single=450
fill rate multi=886
dot3=77.7
vertex=44.1
pixel=64.8

any ideas on why i've lost some performance?
i haven't changed or added anything since the slowdown, and the only thing i can think of is the drivers. if that's the case, how can i uninstall them and go back to a different one?

directx 9.0a
athlon 1.2ghz

Have you cleaned up and defragged your HDD lately? That will give you a few more points.

i have, just before i ran the test. It's strange though because the other categories seemed to be right on target. I think it's either the drivers or directx9. I didn't really seem to have any problems before i installed it.

I would use the 3082s in that rig.
