I just installed my Powercolor 9700Pro, and it seems to be causing some problems on my system. It has slowed down dramatically, taking a few seconds to even open Instant Messenger. I am going to defrag and hope that helps, but it seems the new video card is the culprit. Is there anything I can do? Could the power supply, 300w Heroichi, not be giving my system the juice it needs, because of the new card? Also, I have run DxDiag, and I passed all tests (9.0a), and have run a virus scan.
EDIT: I updated my drivers to the new Catalyst 3.4s and it seems to have fixed the problem. No more slowdowns.
