Question All-In-Wonder 9000Pro, 9700, 9700Pro???

I am trying to decide what to do here. From a cost standpoint, the AIW 9000 is a good fit for me, but there is an outside chance I could swing the AIW 9700 non-pro. Is the difference between the non-pro and pro versions that significant. I am looking to utilize this more for the multimedia capability than for purely gaming graphics. (Watching TV, converting home movies, etc).

From a multimedia point of view... not much difference (I have an 8500DV and have had the 7500, the Radeon 32Mb, and I still own an old Rage Pro 8Mb. There are a couple new features from the 8Mb to the 8500DV, nothing huge, but as far as I know, no mulitmedia differences between the 9000-9700Pro.... just bigger differences when it comes to gaming.

What about between the AIW 9000Pro and the AIW 9700NonPro. How big of a multimedia jump between those two considering it almost doubles in price.

Actually, I meant the AIW 8500DV & 9000Pro. I've heard the 8500DV outperforms the 9000Pro, but are their any pros/cons between getting one over the other outside a performance increase?

I would get the 8500DV over the 9000Pro. Its good for gaming also.

Send a message via AIM to Xayd
The new capture chip on the 9000 series handles 2 channel audio on the vid card itself.

Otherwise, not much difference.
