Question general electric tv to pc converter

any one use one of the tv to pc converter and how well do they work

what is a tv to pc converter? Is it like usin your tv as your PC monitor?

yes it a converter so you can watch tv on your comp,wal mart has one for 69.00 .

No it isn't a converter it does not convert anything. If you want to watch TV on your PC you need a TV card. ATI and Hauppauge make very good TV cards.

it says converter on the box has 181 channels say can be use on a antenna or cable tv,it looks just like a cable tv box.for tv to pc.and it is usb.

just go on newegg.com and look for a tv tuner card. you can get a better one for cheaper too

all the converter dose is convert analog tv signals to digitall and it has a built in tv tuner witch you plug your aireall or a cable from your cable tv into is a lot cheaper to get a pci card
that dose the same job but if you have no free pci slots the the usb converter works ok
