Leadtek WinFast TV 2000 XP install problems

I recently purchased the Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Deluxe and I can't install the drivers. I have a P4 2000 with Win2K. When I install the CD everything goes fine but then in the middle of the install the computer just reboots. So I tried to install the card in my other computer PIII 1000 with Win Me and it worked perfect! The only difference I can see is that the PIII system had DirectX8 on it and the P4 system has directX9. Would this really make a $^&#@% difference????? Please help me! I'm ready to through this bastard through the window! The Leadtek manual says it needs 8.1 or later DirectX software. What the hell am I doing wrong. At this point the drivers show up in the add/remove programs but it won't let me uninstall them. Thanks in advance

i heard you have to d/l the drivers from their site and select the driver during instal from teh file not from the cd. you should be fine then.
