That video card is only video out. You would run the video out of the video card, and the sound from the sound card, to hook up to a VCR. However, to convert, you need a VIVO (video in/video out) card. You can get a stand alone card that does this, a Radeon All-in-Wonder, or and nVidia card w/VIVO.

How much are those cards?, and what about those cards to watch tv in the pc, they have input for video for the cable connection I was thinking to connect the vhs coaxial cable to this input.

easg,
I bought a Leadtek VC100 XP capture card from newegg. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...tby=14&order=1 It works great. It is retail for $28.00 USD and comes with software. I've been capturing many old h.s. football games with the card. For the price it can't be beat. Carl |

Hi Kubie, I cann´t see that S-video connection in my vhs, this is an old model, very old model (1992 Sharp) it only has a coaxial connector this goes to the antena input in the back of the tv, and a video out and audio out conncetors those I connect them to the front video in and audio in inputs of the tv, is there and adapter available? the coaxial connection is not required.

easg,
My old vcr doesn't have S-Video out either so I connect the standard vcr cables from vcr to capture card and the audio cable from vcr to line in on my sound card. Carl |

easg,
My cable has three parts. One video and 2-audio for stereo sound. I bought an adapter at Radio Shack that connects the two audio cables to the one line in on my sound card. The football games aren't stereo anyway. Carl |
