9800 Pro D3D Anti Aliasing Problems

When I use programs with Direct 3D and have anti-aliasing on, the top most and left most lines of pixels are wierd. In 3dmark2001 the topmost and leftmost lines appear before everything else, then disapear, then the whole screen comes up and everything is fine, it only happens when it loads. But in No One Lives Forever 2 it does that, but the the top most line of pixels stays a shade lighter than the rest of the pixels. My driver on the ATI Radeon 9800 is 6.14.10.6368. It may happen with OpenGL also, but I know of no way to find out. I played HalfLife in OpenGL and D3D with AA (although I don't think AA made any visual difference, I tried on and off) and there were no lines like NOLF2 and 3DMark. Any help would be very nice. Thank you.

I found out that that in No One Lives Forever 2 it is only certain objects, like a package, or a pole that get screwed up in that top line. Like the pole, if I were to get up close to it, the would lose its textures (the whole screen) but even when I am far away, it never has textures in the top line.

If I find anymore wierd things that it does I will post it, I really want to fix these problems.

-------Found More Problems-----
So I install Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind and the graphics look nice and everything. In the beginning you start below a ship deck and within a few minutes you have to go above to the deck. Well everytime when I try to go up my monitor goes into standby (as if my computer had shut off) but it hasn't, so the only thing I can do is hit restart. I got the newest patch, but that helped nothing. Now I kind of regret spending my money on a computer, too many problems to make it worth it. Please help if you can or respond with any advice. Thanx again.
