img file extensions

I have Windows XP Home and want to know how I can play .img files on my computer. What program will play these files?

I don't know of a "playable" .img file type !?!? I did a quick search at a couple "file extention" sites and there is no listing for any type of playable .img file listed... Just curious, but what kind of file do you think this is? That might help...

img files

I have some movies that have the .img files extension and cannot play them with powerDVD, interwin DVD, or media player.

They're the same as ISO, probably.

Mount with Daemon Tools, or burn the img file directly.
