Unhappy Running Radeon 9200 at 8x

I have a Gygabyte Rade0n 9200 graphics card, and it supports AGP 8x so does my motherboard but it still will only run at 4x i enabled 8x support. Am i missing something? ive also flashed the bios of my mobo and graphics card. Im using a MSI K7N2 Motherboard.
