ATI and HL2

Hi All

My understanding is that ATI will be packaging HL2 with certain vid cards when HL2 comes out. Does anyone know if it will be in the 9800 series, or just the 9900 when it comes out? (I'm planning on getting the AIW 9800 when the 9900 comes out, assuming a nice price drop on the 9800)

TIA

It will be bundled with the 9800Pro/256 with the new R360 core. And from what I've read, it will only be the built-by ATI cards, not the powered-by ATI cards that will have HL2.

I'm planning on buying a vid card soon but I don't want to buy it just before the prices drop or get it with HL2. Do you know how much the HL2 bundle will be and when Radeon 9900 will come out?

The next ATI card will be the 9800 XT not the 9900, from what I have seen. It is just supposed to have higher clockspeeds, over 400mhz if i remember correctly. And the card will be out by the time hl2 is, which is supposedly still the 30th.
