Recording Directly to tape.

Is there any way that I can connect a cassette deck to my computer, and record my .mp3's direct onto cassette, rather then onto CD, and from there onto casette?

Yeah. I used to do that before I got a CD burner. Connect the output of your sound card to an input of your cassette. That is, the speaker jack on the back of your computer to an aux or something on your amplifier/cassette.

I have a Y jack for my sound card output.

You can also use "Line Out" if your sound card has one.
