What is this?
Whenever I accidently leave MSN Messenger open and try to play a game, it freezes and when I get back to the desktop it looks like THIS. Hmmm.... The screen shot does not look like what I saw except for the lines trhought the letters. What I see is a screen way to bright to see anything. Also, things draw like a slow loading web page. The screen shot fails to show the entire desktop because I could not see what I was doing in Picture It. The desktop stays this way until I restart the computer. Why does this happen?

First guess would be a messed up video driver... try updating it.
