Vid and sound card

I was going to get the 9700 aiw from new egg, but I hear that they have some issues with lines across the screens and stuff, supposedly the 9700pro aiw doesnt have these problems but newegg doesnt carry it. So i was thinking of maybe getting the 9600 pro ultra and an ati tv tuner with remote. Would I lose or gain any features by having a seperate tv tuner and vid card instead of the 9700 aiw non pro? Im really open to anything here but im trying to stay at about 300 or under for the aiw or the vid card& tv tuner. Anything that has more bang for the buck? And, I will be ordering the klipsch 2.1 thx cert. and I can't find any kind of guide on the net on how to match your speakers with a card. I want a very good card for listening to music, but i dont want to waste money on things that the 2.1's can't utilize like 5.1 surround and stuff. For the people who actually read through all this thanks you! I don't wanna screw up my first build.

Hi Bond,

I have used an ATI TV tuner in the past and did not like it much, the drivers are poorly written. I would recommend buying a Radeon 9600 Pro along with a Leadtek WinFast Deluxe ($46) which has received much praise. As for the sound card, I've always recommended the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz ($55), but if you want a card with more features check out the Audigy2 line of cards. You can find all of these products at NewEgg. Hope this helps.
