No rear channel audio - PCMech Forums

sfd0124 Member (6 bit) Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: Massachusetts Posts: 43	No rear channel audio I am using a Shuttle AN35N Ultra mobo w/latest Nforce unified driver. I have no rear channel audio. The Nforce test utility does produces sound from the rear though. Every option that can be selected to get this to work has been done. The rears are connected to the line in(rear out) jack. The big puzzle is why is there no Nforce Audio icon in control panel? Device manager shows I am indeed using the Nforce codec. Nvidia has multiple pages on all the sound options available from this utility. Why does it not appear? And yes for the record every advanced option from the sounds & devices icon in Control Panel has been set correctly. Thanks Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter
