Hi, I just joined the 20th century and got a dvd player, toshiba 3950, with jpeg viewing capabilities. I have a 29" television, and I notice the resolution of my jpeg files when viewed on the tv is pretty poor in some cases, yet the files are high resolution. Is this simply because of the size of the tv screen? Any suggestions on how to improve? I suppose I could go into PaintShopPro and re-size the images, but don't know if that would improve the viewing charactaristics. Thanks,

i suppose the pixles are being stretched by your huge tv screen, although they are high res they may not be high res. enough? like when you zoom in on a jpeg eventually you just get huge blocks of colour.
