The next generation of radeon cards.
When is the next Radeon card scheduled to come out? Also what is the name they are thinking of giving it?

I've heard the rumor that the next one will, naturally, be called the "9900" -- to come out early next year... Hopefully someone will post better details than my puny little rumor...

Thats what I heard it wa going to be called as well. When the 9800 XT came out I was dissapointed that it wasnt the 9900. I want to know when it is coming out so that I know when I should buy a new video card.

Ya, I've been waiting too... So far, my GF3 is still hanging tough, but all the new games (DooM, HL2, etc) are coming and, while it may "run" them, I do want all the eyecandy the new games will give. When the "9900" comes out, I might be able to afford a 9800 Pro
