LCD monitor Help

hello all

i've been given an older (but free) NEC LCD monitor. it's a NEC- Multisync LCD 1810 Xtra view. the one catch (isn't there always) is that it has no power cord. i called NEC and they told me "sure, we have a power cord and adapter for it- it only costs $200.00!!!" i told them i would call back if i wanted it.

my question is, is this monitor worth spending $200.oo on a power cord to get it working? it's an older (3.5 years) LCD and i've heard that LCD monitors back then weren't so good (bad refresh rates). anyone have any opinions on this?

here is a link to the specs of the monitor:

any help appreciated

If you do ebay, then yes, I would think its worth it.

Yeah I was just going to suggest eBay, but you better get that cable before someone else does.
