Dual video card?

I'm going to build a machine for a classroom. AMD 2500, A7N8x MB. Will I need a dual monitor video card in order to hook up both a 19" monitor and a Power-Point projector?

Doesn't the projector come with a patch cord that allows you to connect to both the monitor and the projector at the same time? The ones we have here at work come with a bunch of different cords for several different configurations.
