Waves rolling down screen, ATi to blame...

What's up with these faint waves/lines scrolling down my screen? How do I get rid of this? My nvids never did this!
Also what refresh rate fixer do you guys use for ati cards?
Card in question is a 9700.

I used to use Rage 3D Tweak, but find with the latest drivers, I no longer need it. As for your rolling lines... not sure what the problem there is as I have never had that problem and use and sell ATI almost exclusively.

I use a TFT monitor with my 9700 PRO so I don't have the refresh rate prob and never had the line problem either. Even my buds 9700 PRO with a CRT monitor doesn't have the wavy line issue.

I had that problem a while back with an ATI driver. That's when I tried the same Catalyst from Omega and the problem went away. Been stickin' to his drivers ever since.

Leadtech nforce2 mobo, and the latest driver from ati.
Does the refresh lock deal work ok or is it a joke? I haven't tried it yet.

it works for me. can tell when i dont have the refresh thing in after i reformat. i usually set it at 100 but without the refresh thing you can see the screen jumping around. turn it on and its nice and clear.
