GFX card

my friend has a laptop and the gfx card stopped working. he was wondering if he could buy an ATI Radeon or Nvidia 3 for his toshiba

not for the laptop, beause the vast majority of the graphics are integrated into the motherboard, along with nearly everything else.

There is no way he's going to get a graphics card into a laptop, there isn't even pci slots in laptops, there just isn't the space for them.
