Does new egg carry these 2.1 klipsch speakers? http://www.shopping.hp.com/cgi-bin/h...me=product.cgi
I ask becuase i saw them like a week ago and then they've vanished. I'm sure if they just didn't have any in stock it would still show the product right? |

I couldn't find them either... I'm wondering if they are a "close-out" item as many places are selling them for cheap... $129 is a good price for them, though.

The last time I seen a set like those was about a week ago in the refurb section with none in stock.

Newegg sells the newer Promedia 2.1 speaker set HERE I'm not sure what the difference is compared to the ones you linked to.
I know bestbuy still carries the ProMedia 2.1 speakers that you linked to. Nice little speakers, I had them before I upgraded to the 5.1 system.

i'm not sure what you mean by many places were selling them "cheap"......please clarify........and i wanted to buy them from somewhere reputable like newegg since HP has horrible reviews......although there price is the best i can find......i wouldn't mind spending around 150 from a reputable place of business

The cheapest I've see is your link to HP. HP is a reputable company, so I'm not sure what you mean by horrible reviews.
As for my "cheap" statement, I've been seeing them at places like Best Buy for about$150 - 160. |

Ya, Best Buy's site has them for $180 when I just looked... could have been an "open box" or mail in rebate item, as I didn't really pay that much attention other than noting the price.
Everybody's different, and I personally don't put much weight into reviews like the ones listed. There are only two, one sez it was a great shopping experience, and the other seems to be just slamming the HP site's design. And they contradict each other, one claiming great tracking, the other sez no tracking. And that is exactly why I don’t read those reviews. “One” doesn’t” even know if the bad slams are from a competitor or not... Again, personally, I would not hesitate to buy those speakers (or any other product they have at a good price like that) from HP. I couldn’t care less about how their site looks compared to other sites. Just like Mwave.com’s site, I can’t stand the site, but that doesn’t stop me from shopping there if I so choose (but I do shop mostly at Newegg as they normally have a better price on the stuff I’m buying at the time).
