Flicker problem with 9600 all in wonder
There is a flicker and a ripple effect in windows. I have tried a different monitor and it did the same thing. I have messed the the resolution and refresh rates with some success. With a weaker graphics card and similar 17 inch moniter, my roomate seems to be able to do almost anything with his resolutions and refresh rates with very little effect. I have just put togethet my computer with and ATI 9600 Pro All In Wonder card, a asus pc4800-e deluxe mother, a 19 inch Dell M992 moniter, and am running windows xp.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Brett |

Move all equipment away from the monitor - such as speakers and anything electric/magnetic/electronic.

You're not alone, StoneMcCready. After installing my 9800 Pro, I also got a flicker. I immediately thought that I didn't set the refresh rate, as it "looks and feels" like a refresh rate setting problem, but not matter what I set it to, the flicker remains. The location of speakers, etc., did not change.
