Well, built my friends comp, all's well, except it doesnt play any sounds. Reinstalled driver, got newest, still nothing. The audio is the onboard from the Asus P4p800. I'm stumped, any help appreciated.

Are you using powered speakers?

Are the speakers plugged into the right port?

Have you checked in Sound Properties to make sure the wrong thing isn't muted?
