Hi I am having a problem with my graphics card. I am builing my own computer and have more or less finished it. However when I go to put the lead from the monitor into the graphics card - the monitor shows nothing what so ever. When I just leave the lead out of the graphics card hwoever the monitor displays a message "no input" which means it works. Whats wrong do you think. I need help and quickly. I have tried other cards as well and the same happends.

I am having the same problem with my computer now. The monitor works with other computers, but my main computer will not work! If I try to plug in the monitor to the back of the computer I get a completely black screen (tried on several monitors with same results) but if I unhook it, then I get a "no Input" error message on the monitor. Others have told me that its the video card...but if you hear differently maybe I won't have to replace mine and can figure it out too. If I hear anything on mine I will pass the message on to you.
Good Luck Tammy |

Do you have another motherboard? Try with another motherboard. I think your motherboard is defective or the AGP slot is defective.
