ATI Sapphire 9800SE Atlantis 128Meg

Has anyone got an ATI RadeonSapphire 9800SE video card,

Looking at one on a website and can't make my mind up wether to buy it or not £140, my budget wont really stretch further.

Any comments on this card are most welcome,

The SE cards are known to be the low end of each product group. You'd be much better off with a 9600XT than a 9800SE. If you want to stay in the 9800 series, get the Pro or XT. It's well worth it. You can compare specs at Sapphire and ATI web sites. Check out the clock speeds.

i agree with panama, se has been dubbed "Slow Edition" and it has not performed as well as the 9600xt like he said. it is well worth the money to upgrade to a pro or xt

Yes the 9600XT glc linked to is an excellent card and is much better than a 9800SE.

Even though you cannot order from them, go to www.newegg.com and look at the descriptions for the cards there. Newegg will list the Video chip speed and the memory speed for the cards.
