Is it dead?
I have an extra video card lying around and I was going to put it in a friends old PII 333mhz Gateway. However, when I popped it into the AGP slot I got nothing three beeps and no video. The card worked when it was in my other computer but it has been lying around in a Ziplock bag for a while (probably not a good way to store it) I haven't tested it in another computer but is it possible that even though the card fits in the slot that it is not compatible? Wrong voltage or something? The card is a Voodoo 3.

It's compatible, maybe the contacts are dirty.
