ATI Radeon 9800 SE goes to Pro

I'm hearing these days, that you can procure an ATI Radeon 9800SE card and reenable the eight pipelines to get the Pro. Anyone heard of this? It supposedly has the same memory and card architecture and memory.

Also, with the release of the new ATI X800 Pro soon, would it be prudent to sell my ATI Radoen 9800 Pro some time soon?

Thanks,
kram

Why sell what's still a high end card? Get your money's worth out of it till it doesn't hack the load any more.
