Question Help! New mobo won't run DX9 to ATI card

I have upgraded to a Gigabyte GA-7VT600 1394 mobo and I'm using my Radeon 9700 Pro as I did with my old Soltek board with no problems.

I cannot run any DX game as the graphics freeze or corrupt within a few seconds.

I have run DXDiag and everything appears ok but the Dx 3d tests freeze like my games.

Anyone have any idea what I can do? I've tried fiddling with all the acceleration settings but it does not help.

I have the lastest ATI drivers, DX9b and my mobo is brand new so has latest bios.
