I built a computer about 3 months ago.
I have an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe, AMD 3200, 1 GB Samsung Dual Channel DDR, Radeon 9800 XT, 550x Dual Fan Power Supply. I have got all the driver updates for my motherboard, graphics card, and monitor. When I try to play a game the screen flickers and is garbled. It does not happen in movies just in the game platform itself. This problem has come up before, it went away came back and now will not go away. During windows I have no problem, it is only in games. Is the graphics card broke or what? Please help me!!! Thanks! |

Your video card may have gone bad. I had the same thing happen to two cards. Now, what brand is the power supply? The reason I went through three video cards is that I was using a cheap, low quality power supply. It could be either one of those things.
