cant get to a site
im trying and trying but nothing is working. i cant seem to get to gamespot.com! ive tried turning off all my popup blockers, zonealarm, antivirus, and everything else i could think of. still nothing. anyone have any idea why i cant get to this page. its been like this for at least a month. is there something on that page that i could be possibly blocking so it wont load? any help is appreciated

When you fail to access gamespot what message does IE show ?
Most importantly, is it always the same message ? If you haven't been there for the last month or so you may not know that the site has had a complete makeover, which could be the source of your trouble. Even if you haven't changed settings the ones you used previously, disable all Acitve X for example, could be causing you trouble now. |

What do you get when you go to the site? Anything loading or viewable? The site uses cookies and from what I see so far flash/shockwave so your security settings need to have active x enabled (just set everything to high to test with) and clear your cache (delete cookies and delete files, including offline files, just for the hell of it).
