Spam

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up, but couldn't find anywhere better.

I am currently receiving around 1500 - 3000 spam emails per day. Now I know this is a common problem but the quantities I'm getting are ridiculous.

The problem is that many are the same email just sent abour 5 to 10 times, sometimes more.

Can anyone suggest what I can do. I spend a good 30-60 mins a day just downloading emails and I have a 512K connection!!

I'd appreciate any suggestions and comments on if this is normal or not.

Thanks

Try taking a look at mailwasher. You can take a look at what is in your inbox before you actually download it, in addition to making a block list.

Get a new email address. Seriously. Spam is normal, but not 1500 getting past your filters.

Is this an ISP account or free account, such as hotmail and yahoo?
