Script Errors!
When I turn on my computer, (brand new running XP home edition), I get these script errors:
An error has occurred in the script on this page Line: 81 Char: 1 Error: 'win2" is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://www.geocities.com.a1t2x3/max.htm An error has occurred in the script on this page Line: 70 Char: 2 Error: 'null' is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://www.geocities.com/a1t2x3.htm Then after running my computer for a while, I get some like this one: An error has occurred in the script on this page Line: 5 Char: 813 Error: Expected ‘;’ Code: 0 URL: http://www.geocities.com/a1t2x3.htm I've run spybot/adaware. I looked in add/remove programs and there's a "internet explorer Q31167". I wonder if that might be the problem? If someone could help me quickly, I would really appreciate it. My dad is going crazy and threatening to call COX and tell them he'll discontinue using their internet if they dont make it stop

It doesn't have anything to do with your ISP. For some reason one of the IE updates changed some of the defaults. In IE, click Tools/Internet Option/Advanced and uncheck Display a Notiification about every Script Error and check Disable Script Debugging.

Yes I know it has nothing to do with my ISP. Hence the rolling eyes. I do have that unchecked and I also have script debugging disabled.

Just turning the computer on gives you those errors? I think you may have some spyware. Download, update, and run Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware. The clue is they are all hitting the same Geocities page.

I missed the part that you got these on startup. It looks like the error that occurs when running a vbs script. Type in msconfig and see what is programs are loading on startup.
