Question IE 6 niggle???

hello,
I've had this problem for a long time now.
If i am reading a page and sometimes not all the time,
after a minute or so when browsing, the page just seems to drop a few centimetres.
like the scroll bar just moves up on its own.
Its almost as if the wheel gets in between clicks and rolls over by itself.
I have a MS optical wheel intellimouse with version 4.11 software.
Not sure whether this is mouse or IE 6 related ?
Any Ideas?
TIA
JP

i have had a similar problem.. but my IE6 sort of jumps up or down a bit occasionally.. the actual window moves rather than the scroll bar..

no.. not me i dont think.. for me it happens pretty randomly (occasionally) and just jerks up or down a little (moves from point to point.. not with inbetween bits like if it was moved with the mouse).. often so the top of the titlebar is just off the top of the screen mostly.
i'm not ever clicking on the title bar or anything when it moves..
i would have thought it was some kind of script thing [in my case atleast].. there are java scripts and stuff that can make your IE window jump all around the screen aren't there?
