IE Status bar
how can i make the status bar appear in every IE window i open? i usually have to go into the view menu to make it appear. i have XPhome and IE6.0 any more info just ask.

Close IE. Open My Computer while holding the CTRL key the Whole time, Click View->Status bar then File & Close

I thought there was no way to get around that...thanks...it helped me too! Although, now I use Mozilla Firefox!

Apparently the key is the Control Key which I'm guessing forces Windows to REMEMBER the darn setting. Helps with Win Explorer and the status bar as well.
