Parallel Threads: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=102870

I use MSIE6SP1 on this computer, but my sister's computer seemed to be a very vulnerable one, so as a trial, I put Mozilla Firefox on it. It's seeming to work well - no ads, Open source, versatile, I like it. MSIE6 might just go soon . I have a thread on the link mentioned above - you might want to check it out.

I had issues with images not loading in Firefox, so I've gone back to my tried and true IE 6. No issues and it's customized the way I like it.

These browser threads are getting to be almost as bad as the AMD vs Intel threads. There are too many of them. I use My IE 2, by the way. Best browser I have ever used. I can't seem to get people to try it though. People say that it's not secure because it shares some inards with IE. However, my unofficial tests show that it is more secure than IE.

I don't see why that would be. They are enabled right out of the box.

Use IE6 mostly, but have been trying firefox, which after getting it to work right seems very good, and today have downloaded myie2,and am liking it very well also.Think I will keep firefox and myie2 as well as ie6,as I need this for some sites as well as updates.I like to keep up on alot of these things so as to be familiar with them in case I have to do some work on someones rig that may have these,I will cut my learning curve down some.

Opera here, and IE6 only when necessary.

mozilla 1.7, have used opera and it was ok,tried firefox 0.9 and it worked fine except it kept giving me and error (which really wasn't there) on page load, it loaded but the error came up and i had to click it off. i went to mozilla and it seems to have all the features i want and is tried and true. i still have IE6 also but don't use it much.

i uninstalled firefox and downloaded 0.9 again, same thing happened when it loads anything (for instance pcmech) a popup appears saying -cannot find the file http:ww.pcmech.com (or one of its components) make sure the path is etc. -pcmech is loaded and everything works but its annoying to have to click off the popup every time. don't know what the problem is but couldn't fix it.

I've had FireFox for the past few weeks and, so far, I like it.
I've just downloaded and installed Thunderbird and I'll see how that goes.
I use IE for widows updates and for those web sites that won't work with anything else.
