I was told by AOL that my new IP is black-listed. Therefore I am not able to access AOl users.
How can I find out if this is really true? I have contacted MAPS, but I don't understand the cyber language.

Are you on AOL?
What do you mean by: "not able to access AOl users?" |

I live in Mexico and have had a few problems with ISPs blocking all email Telmex in Mexico. The one in Hawaii changed their system but the other two haven't.

Complain to your ISP and tell them to fix their settings so that they are no longer an open relay for spam e-mail transmission. That is most likely the problem. If they won't fix it, find another ISP that is more responsible.

Read this from the administrator at another site:
"If just a couple of users at AOL have ever tagged one of your emails as spam, even accidentally, then AOL will blacklist your email address. This is a common problem with AOL, and you will have to contact the tech support department to have your address removed from the filter blocklist." |
