Exclamation FireFox causes WinXP to crash

I just downloaded and began using FireFox yesterday, and was realy staring to enjoy the tabed browsing and the extra speed that I seemed to get from it. It definately runs the Mech faster for me. Unfortunately, it started causing stop errors for no obvious reason. I'm not sure where the incompatability is here. Most of my system info is in my sig. The stop error was a typical "not less or equal".

Could you post more information about the error message? Have you checked the system event logs?

I don't see anything in the event logs that mentions FireFox by name. It could be some other program I'm running that it doesn't get along with, I don't know. The error message was just a tipical XP blue screen stop error stating that the "IRQ not less or equal". I'm using a Proxomitron filter that runs through a proxy port. Maybe it has a problem with that.

Did you do any hardware/driver changes lately?

Do these error messages stop when you switch back to IE?

It's a blue screen stop error. The only option is to reboot.
