Geez.
I am the only one at work who either has a dial up or does not qualify for ant broadband. I called B$ today and bitched for the 100th time in 2 years. My time warner office are a bunch of retards who want to sell me digital cable, for what? No better picture! Anyway, a guy I work with who lives in "tha hood" got a letter saying he can get cable access from cox. I am not too far from CO, they just don't want to upgrade the equipment. I thought about a dish, but for gaming I am better off with dial up.

Got a friend out in BFE that has Starband. He's huge into gaming and says it's 10x better than dial-up even at peak times.

I just heard today, that the local cable company may have cable internet access availabe by this summer. If this holds true...you'll be hearing it from me nice and loud..sure would be nice to surf pcmech with a broaband connection after over 2 years here.
