Small issue with Firefox...

I have noticed that when posting on this (or any) forum, once you click inside the message body you can no longer scroll with the wheel on the mouse. Once you click out of the message box you can scroll again. IE does not do this, yes I know it’s just a small nuance, but has anyone else noticed this?

I've noticed it as well. But it doesn't really bother me. Probably because I'm used to it since I've been using Mozilla/Firefox for awhile now.

Err .. that isnt an issue that is the design of the operating system, and it should be the case even with IE (it is on mine). The reason is that once you are in a text box of a form, your scrolling action should be within the text box not for the entire page.
Click QUOTE to reply to this message; and then fill your screen with a bunch of garbage till you get a scroll bar in the message box .. scrolling up and down should now scroll you within the message box and not the entire page. I don't know if you've got IE & a hotmail accnt but try replying to a message on hotmail, put your mouse focus over the message box and try scrolling .. you should find that the message itself will scroll (make sure you have enough content to warrant scrolling); move your mouse focus over to your quick contact list beside the message; scrolling will now move the address list.

However, if you want to be able to scroll your page down in a message box with your wheel; then first LEFT click out of the message box (so that your focus is out of the box and the cursor is no longer visible). Now you should be able to scroll the page.

That makes sense, thanks for explaining Statica, in IE once the scroll bars appear in the message box, scrolling with the mouse moves both the message box as well as the whole page, which is kind of weird as well.
