IE 5.5 Font Issues
I just upgraded my IE 5.0 to IE 5.5 because of problems using some web sites. Those problems have now gone away, but I'm having font problems. The only place I've seen them so far is on Ebay, but it's only been a few hours. I tried installing anything I could find from the install pack for fonts, but still nothing. One link that I've found that doesn't work is:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...sPageName=WDVW The way I see it is attached as a screen shot. I'm using IE version 5.50.4807.2300, 128-bit, SP2 update on Windows NT 4.00.1381. Any ideas? Thanks. Hayward |

Its no secret the IE does not completely conform to W3C HTML standards. Most folks savvy on net surfing have a couple of different browsers. I suggest you download Mozilla Firefox and give it a shot. Unlike IE Firefox conforms exactly with W3C standards, so some pages that show up incorrectly in IE might render well in Firefox and vice versa.
(Plus, Firefox has some cool tweaking/personalization options if you take a little time to lean about them )
