Ok, you know that animated logo in the top right corner of internet explorer? Well i had this cool little roadrunner one but then after i installed aol (yeah we have RRcable but some people just must have their aol...groan) the little logo changed to the aol logo animation. Anyway, how do i change it back? or change it at all. I read once where you could go in the registry and change something there but i dunno...anyway, thanks!

I know how to get rid of the "Provided by AOL", but can't find or remember how to change the logo.
To "Unbrand" it, open regedit, and search for "AOL", it's found in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main folder, called "Window Title", change it to anything you like. Edit: I found it! http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q176/7/13.ASP [Edited by reboot on 03-20-2001 at 06:43 PM] |

Hi BeanGyy,
Open regedit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar "BrandBitmap" is the 30x38 pixel image and "SmBrandBitmap" is the smaller 22x22 pixel image. Just change the .bmp files to the ones you want. Hope that helps.
