Connection/disconnection problem
I am sure I have been faced with this problem before but I do not remember how to sort it out. When I turn my computer on the computer automaticaly dials up and I go onto the internet. How do I stop that? Also I have lost the window that gives me the choice to disconnect or stay connected. How do i get it back? Also, as i did not change any settings how did this happen??

ok, when its connecting does a box come up that says it is? if it does hurry and cancel the connection, then unclick connect automatically. and what o/s are you running?

Thanks for reply but I have discovered that it was caused by Blinkx which I have now removed and everything is back to normal.
