Hi People,
I have an issue with IE at the moment. When i type in a URL into the Address bar with the http:// in front it works fine, if i just type in a url without the http:// it says IE explorer couldn;t open the search page ??? I have already done the below Reinstall IE and updated it deleted all cached paged flusted the DNS cache tried using a proxy server and am fresh out of ideas, so any more would be greatly looked upon Cheers Jon |

![]() Well, it really depends on what webpage you're going to - if you're going to a website that will accept the URL without the "WWW", it will allow you to go there, but otherwise, your URL will be pointing at "http://jibjab.com". My suggestion would be to type in "jibjab" and press Ctrl+Enter. By the way - saw that clip weeks ago, I must say it was great ![]() Hope that helps, kram

It on all sites i know what you mean about the www thou.
It's like something has changed on the machine but even a reinstall of IE didn;t fix it, i can;t really be bothered to format it just for that.... any other ideas ??? |
