I'm still using eudora 5.0 (you know - if it wasn't broken, don't fix it ) Now I'm planning to switch over to foxmail. But heck, eudora seems to not support mail export? could that be true????any help is highly appreciated, TIA Felix |

It doesn't export mail to my knowledge. The best I can do is suggest that you forward all your emails to yourself; or attach them to one email and send them to yourself.

so you want me to install some mail server as a local relay ? (i.e. mercury mail system, worked well when I tried it once) then send all the stuff to newmail@127.0.0.1 or so...
big work... Felix |

No, just send it to your email address. Make sure you don't check your mail, otherwise you will have to resend.

No need to export Eudora mail - it's all saved as plain text files. Open your .mbx files in Wordpad and you will see what I mean.

I remember a job once where we needed to convert Netscape (yes, the old 4.6 or 7 I think) mail to Outhouse (or was it Outhouse Express - I don't remember exactly). There was no direct export/import possible - but we installed Eudora as an intermediary. Worked like a champ - from Netscape to Eudora, then to Outhouse. Eudora is really a very capable e-mail client, people don't give it enough credit - it's just a bit quirky.
I don't know what Foxmail is, but there's a good chance it can import directly from Eudora. |
