Internet Explorer "Operation aborted" problem...
Hi..
I have this irritating error with my IE.6. It says: "Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://... - Operation aborted." I can't do anything but to click OK, then the page won't be displayed. I tried to low the security level in my IE, but that didn't help. I can't open my email. I'm confused and I really need help. THANKS... |

Welcome to PC Mech forums
 First of all, it could potentially be a viri more than settings - notch the settings on MSIE back to Medium/High for security coverage. Update/Run your AntiVirus. If you don't have one, get one. Then install/update/run Adaware and Spybot S&D. Then, see if you get anything from any other browser - try Mozilla's Firefox to make sure you can access websites. Hope that helps, kram

thanks for your help... I had had a ntsearch.com problem and it turned out to be causing all my pc problems. When I uninstalled it, I didn't have those problems again. And just to be sure, I did everything you suggested.
And Thank you very much, I don't have any problem now.
