ie6 won't load some pages

I have xp home and all updates (well may be a month behind on updates, but so are the rest of the computers mentioned below) I installed norton internet securities about a week ago, got all of the updates and scanned, also scanned w/spybot today. All of the sudden my puter will not load certain pages, like my bank statement. And the other 2 computers in my home will, meaning the pages are valid and the server is working. If I right click on the link on this computer it says "a conn w/the server could not be established" As far as I know I haven't changed anything since it worked well. It only happens on certain pages, I can cruise the net pretty well otherwise. What should I do?
Thanks,
DR

P.S. in the old days (win 95) you could just reinstall win and not loose anything and it would pretty much repair any basic stuff. I have (in the past) tried to use "repair" with the xp disk and it's like you need to know some commands or something, it won't search and repair or install over a previous installation w/o loosing all of your current files and settings, etc. I know this is really another topic, but if someone can point me to info it would be greatly appreciated.
