Internet Explorer Window Size Problem
Hello!
I have a problem with one of my computers and Internet Explorer to be specific. On this computer only, in IE, the screen does not align itself properly. What I mean by that is, no matter what, every web page that I view on IE has a scroll bar at the bottom because the screen does not adjust the page to fit. I have to be on 640x480 resolution, but I have other computers on the same resolution with the same monitor and they do not have this problem. It's just an annoyance, I guess. I can't think of the proper wording for the issue but I guess the easiest way to say is that the text isn't wrapping or isn't adjusting to fit the screen properly. Anyone have any idea of a setting that would correct this? I looked all over IE's configuration and couldn't find anything. |

Most webpages nowadays are designed for at least an 800x600 resolution.
In any case, is the window maximized, and not just "restored down" and stretched across the screen as large as it will go?

you need to stretch the window manually to fit the screen, then close it, then start IE again an d maximize, and the close it again...now it should fit your screen

Anyway, yeah, it is maximized and I tried it both ways ... I also tried stretching it manually, closing, and restarting, and that didn't seem to do anything. |

can't you set your resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768?

I think you have to open the IE window, then hold the left shift key down, open another window, Stretch both windows to where you want them. Now Hold the left shift key and close each one.
This happens to me when I close IE when it is minimized at the bottom of my screen. i.e. Right click and choose "close"
