Hi:
Does anyone know any site / FAQ to be able to do this: * Dowloading IE 5.5 SP1 without installing * Having a one click setup for the browser+SP without being bothered by options etc? Caveat: I am on Win2K, and I cant even download the files to desktop for customization because that feature isnt available on Win2K. TIA. |

Download the IE5.5 update installer, and run it.
Click on the ADVANCED button, there's the option to save it, and install later. As for a 1 click install, I don't think it's possible without a 3rd party button pusher such as PTFB. |

Hey reboot & any1 who's interested:
Here's how I solved it. IE 5.5 download & "packaging" Incidentally, with Win2K there is no advanced option etc, it just does it .. and there is no way I will install IE 5.5 on my Win2k Machine, once burnt twice shy ![]() |
