a shortcut

hi, does anyone here know how to create an ie address link, a file that contains the url of the website. it should look like a regular html file, but only have the url of the website. i found some in the favorites folder, but cant make them miself.

Go to that site, add it to your favorites, and then just cut the shortcut from there and paste it wherever you want it to.

When you're at a site, you can right click on the address and drag it out to the desktop to create a shortcut.

i cant do it
can u explin me in detail. how do i drag it to the desktop again?
i cant select and drag it for some reason.
im using IE6

You just drag the little icon left of the URL. It's located between "Address" and "http://".
